ABOUT MY ART

I am a self-taught Canadian artist from Calgary, Alberta. I work in a contemporary realistic style, primarily using oils, acrylics, and graphite. I am passionate about creating art that is not only technically skilled, but that tells an emotional story. In terms of subject matter, this includes portraiture, landscapes, wildlife, and anything else that pushes the boundaries of what I’ve done before. I am constantly striving to improve, so I embrace any opportunity to exercise my creativity and artistic abilities.

ABOUT ME

Most days that I’m not too busy being a civil engineer-in-training you can find me singing along to obscure music made before I was born, probably wearing pyjamas or clothing covered in paint. I am mostly known for being a bit of a nerd (hopefully that's a good thing?), owning more mismatched tea cups than the average human (it may or may not be a slight obsession), and having an ever-growing collection of houseplants (pun definitely intended). I am a passionate advocate for the ways in which art and design impact our interactions with the natural and built environment, and I love making people smile by creating the unique art they never thought would exist outside of their own imagination.
